The Taylor Titans freshman team picked up its 7th win of the season with a 43-33 win over visiting Tri-Central Tuesday night. After a back and forth 1st quarter, the Titans clamped down on defense in the 2nd quarter, out scoring the Trojans 13-1, and took a 12 point lead into the locker room. The Titans lead the entire second half and never let the lead get closer that 7. The Titans had a very balanced night in the scoring column with no one scoring more than 6 points and 11 out of 13 players scoring points on the night. The Titans were paced in the scoring column by Bailey Owens, Preston Pearce, and Joe Wampler who had six points a piece. Colton Kimber had five points and Wynn Takacs, Caden Sullivan, and AJ Good each added four points a piece. The Titans will look to extend their winning streak to three when they host Easten on Thursday night, February 5th. The game will start at 6:00pm. Taylor’s record is now 7-6.
