Taylor came away with a hard fought win in their first freshmen game of the year over a tough Lewis Cass squad. Cass led most of the game only to see the Titans catch them at the end of regulation. The Titans led most of the first overtime only to see the Cass’ Nate Jones hit a three at the buzzer to send it into overtime #2. Once again the Titans took a lead but we’re able to hold on to it to squeeze out the victory by a score of 52-49. Taylor was led in scoring by Jake Mitchell who tallied 19 points. Clay Murray added 8, Clay Brubaker and Drew Smith each added 6 while Braxton Downs chipped in 5 points. Brett Baer and Richard Taper added 4 each. Cass was led by Trevor Kessler with 14 while Reese Rodabaugh and Jake Martin had 10 a piece. Dixon Collins added 7 and Roland Trusty had 5 points.
