Game Recap

Taylor’s freshmen team dominated all aspects of the game against Maconaquah to win by a score of 50-13. The Titan freshmen sprinted out of the gate by applying a lock down 2-2-1 trapping press that led to several fast break buckets in the first quarter. Braxton Downs then came off the bench and nailed 3 three pointers in the first half to help the Titans open up a 13 point half time lead. The Titans then used a big third quarter, outscoring the Braves by 17-2, to put Maconaquah in a deep hole from which they couldn’t recover. Downs led the Titans in scoring with 14 points, Jacob Isaacs added 11, Jaylin Reece contributed 9 points and Alex Kropczynski chipped in 5 points. Also scoring for the Titans was Sean Pearce with 4, Dakota Harris with 3 and Cory Madison and Owen Farrington with 2 points each. The Braves were led by Jaryn Brown with 6 points, Evan Baldwin with 5 points and Bryce Smith, Zach Snyder and RJ Beam each contributing 2 points.
