Taylor’s freshmen traveled to Carroll for a match up with the Cougars on Thursday night. Playing in a unique environment at the Cougar field house, the Titans came away with a 47-17 victory. The Titan freshmen once again got out of the gate very quickly by opening up a 12-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Titans employed a 2-2-1 trapping press and a lock down man to man defense to hold the Cougars scoreless in the first period. Cruising to a 16-6 lead at halftime, the Titans once again poured in on the third quarter by outscoring the Cougars 15-3 to put the game out of reach. Taylor was led in scoring by Alex Kropczyski with 17 points. Dakota Harris and Toric Spires each added 8 points with Jaylin Reece chipping in 7.
