Game Recap

In a home game versus a conference foe, the Titans got back on the winning track with a 33-26 victory against Tri Central. A slow start, caused by poor foul shooting, kept the game close during the first half and tied at the half 15 all. 8 points from Dylan Bass and 4 from Catch Sullivan kept the Titans in the game. A much better defensive effort after the half was key in the victory, in which missed layups and free throws were much again prevalent, yet overcoming ourselves was a welcome change. 9-31 on freebies and another dozen or so layups kept the game closer than what it should’ve been. Playing without a regular starter, Zeke Lamberson filled in admirably and played a solid game in his first A team start. Bass led with 12, Sullivan and Jay’vier Patterson 6, Amarion Stewart 5 and a huge 4 points from Peyton Leveridge in the final 3 minutes to put the game out of reach.
