Game Recap

The Titans boys soccer team finally broke into the win column Thursday night with a 5-1 win at Carroll. Playing with only 11 players, the Titans played some of their best soccer of the season. They passed and shared the ball very well, recording three assists on the five goals. They also used some very good possession to control the tempo of the game from the start. Jaylin Reece, playing the sweeper spot, was asked to shut down Carroll’s #1 goal scorer and did a great job as the player didn’t score or get many touches on the ball. The entire back line played well too. Wesley Borgani paced the Titans scoring with a hat trick (3 goals). Cash Kelley-Smalley added two goals and two assists. Brody Ireland also had an assist. Brett Baer had 10 saves in goal. They win moves the Titans’ record to 1-7. There next game is Wednesday at home against Rossville.
