Despite having three normal starters absent due to illness and one playing JV, the Titan freshmen took care of business by beating the Clinton Central Bulldogs by a score of 49-17. The second quarter was big for Taylor as they scored 14 points and held Clinton Central to only 6 points. Defense in the second half was even better for the Titans as they held the Bulldogs to only 6 points in the entire half. Taylor was led in scoring by Josh Bowman with 19 points. Tymon Davis and Conner Hight each added 10 points. Jacob Morgan drained a couple of threes for 6 points while Truman Howerton and Jill Patel each added 2 points for the Titan total of 49 points. Clinton Central was led by Jordan Lunsford with 5 points and Bryson Webb with 4 points. Logan Whiteman and Clayton Randolph each added 3 points for the Bulldogs while Brody Cline chipped in 2 points for Clinton Central’s total of 17. The Titans are now 7-7 and will travel to Eastern tomorrow night for the last game of their season.
