The Titan freshmen drove a few miles east to face the Eastern Comets in the final game of the season for both teams. It was a battle but Taylor came out on top by a score of 36-28. The win gave the Titans a winning record for the year at 8-7. The two teams played an even first quarter but the Titans were able to open up a 9 point lead at the half as Tymon Davis has a big second quarter scoring 7 points in that frame. The Titans were then able to hold off a feisty Comet team for the rest of the game to come out with the hard fought victory. Davis led the Titans in scoring with a game high 16 points. Nathan Keene added 9 points for Taylor and Josh Bowman added 6 points. Cory Madison chipped in 3 points and Karleion Blackburn added 2 for the Titan total of 36. Jacob Powell led the Comets with 8 points while Nate Wilson added 6 points. Lucas Stout contributed 4 points and Makhai Reed, Niko Bailey and Dakota Spencer each scored 3 points to complete the Comet scoring at 27. The Titans won their last two games of the season to finish with an 8-7 record.
