The Titans came out flat in the opening half against Maconaquah on Tuesday night before finally pulling away in the 4th quarter to win the game 34-30. The Titan rally was sparked by tenacious defense by Cory Madison who had several key steals for Taylor. Ty’mon Davis lead the Titans in rebounding with 6 boards as the young Taylor team edged the Braves on the boards. 8 players scored for Taylor with Nathan Keene leading the charge with 10 points, Ty’mon Davis tallied 6 points, Josh Bowman added 5 points, Karleion Blackburn added 4 points and Cory Madison chipped in 3 points. Conner Hight, Jacob Morgan and Christian Parks each added 2 points for the Titan total of 34. The Braves were led in scoring by Nate Harding with 11 points and Graham Stoll with 8 points. Shemar Austin added 4 points, David Coleman chipped in 3 points while John Dooley and Elijah Alvarado each contributed 2 points. The Titans are now on a 2 game happy streak to even their early season record at 2-2.
