The Titan freshmen came away with their first victory of the season in a hard fought win against the Madison Grant Argylls with the final score being 32-25 for the Titans. The young Titans scored the first 4 points of the game but then let Madison Grant go on an 8-0 run to end the first quarter in the hole by a score of 8-4. Led by some scrappy play of Christian Parks, the Titans held the Argylls to one point in the second quarter which really turned out to be the turning point in the game. Taylor played with much more aggression and crashed the boards better which proved to be the difference. The Titans were led in scoring by Nathan Keene with 8 points, Ty’mon Davis with 7 points and Christian Parks with 6 points. Josh Bowman added 4, Cory Madison added 3 and Karleion Blackburn and Truman Howerton each added 2 points. Madison Grant was led by Taylor with 8 points, B. Hasty with 7 points, Pertoins with 6 points and Ford with 3 points. Taylor’s record on the young season now stands at 1-2.
