The Titan freshmen traveled south on 400 East to face the Tri-Central Trojans. The Titans battled from behind the entire game before taking a 3 point lead with 7.5 seconds remaining in the game. Tri-Central worked the ball into the corner toTakota Thompson who, despite good defense, drained a three as time expired to send the game into overtime. The Trojans came out and quickly opened up a 5 point lead and never looked back as the Titans could not score in the OT period. A couple of late free throws made the final margin 39-32 in favor of Tri-Central The Trojans were led in scoring by Dietric Johnson with 12 points. Sam Davis and Takota Thompson each added 8 points while Garrett Groves chipped in 6 points. The Trojan scoring was completed by Alex Porter with 5 points. Taylor was led by Tymon Davis with a game high 15 points. Cory Madison added 7 points for the Titans while Josh Bowman and Conner Hight each chipped in 3 points. The Titan scoring was completed by Karlieon Blackburn and Jacob Morgan with 2 points each. The Titans are now 6-6 on the year and travel to Arcadia on Thursday for a game against Hamilton Heights.
