The Taylor Freshmen made the journey to Lafayette Central Catholic on Thursday night but came up short by a score of 68-25. The Titans showed flashes of very good play but were inconsistent which led to the lopsided loss. De’mon Davis and Cameron Craft led the Titan scoring with 6 points each. Brendon Partlow added 5 points while Zach Schesser scored 4 points for Taylor. Michael Pemberton and Tanner Miller each added 2 points to complete the Titan scoring. Pemberton had 6 rebounds for Taylor with Schesser and Craft each grabbing 5 rebounds. Miller talied 4 boards to help the Titans. In the end, the Titans committed 28 turnovers which sunk their chances. LCC was led by Billy Owens with 13 points. Cres Rodriguez and Clark Obermiller each added 10 points for the Knights. The Titans are now 1-7 on the season and get back into action on Saturday night as part of the V/JV/Freshmen triple header at Western.
