Oak Hill visited Taylor Saturday night and handed the Titans JV squad their 3rd lose of the season. Oak Hill came out with a lot of energy and took the Titans out of the game early. They got to a lot of the 50-50 balls and were able to get a lot of looks close to the rim on their way to a 14 point victory. The Titans did battle all night, cutting the Golden Eagles’ lead to eight mid way through the 3rd quarter. Bad shot selection and turnovers on three consecutive trips down the floor doomed the Titans as the lead ballooned back up to 14 and the Titans never got any closer. The Titans did have a balanced night in the scoring column. Clay Brubaker led the Titans with seven points. Darrian Valencia, Braxton Downs and Alex Kropczynski each had six points and Jaylin Reece added 5. The loss drops the Titans to 1-3 on the season. Their next game is Friday December 8 at 6:00pm. This is the annual Boys/Girls Doubleheader with Northwestern. The JV game will be in the Middle School gym.
