The Taylor Boys Tennis team traveled to Delphi on Saturday for the HHC Conference Meet and finished in fourth place. Nathan Keene won an individual conference championship at #3 singles by first beating Greg Williams from Rossville by a score of 6-3, 6-6 (9-7) and then won the championship match against David Hyman of Delphi by a score of 6-3, 5-7 (10-6). Kendall Lanning won his first match of the day over Trent Myers of Carroll by a score of 6-2, 6-3 finishing at 3rd place in the conference at #2 singles. Ethan Klepinger lost his first match at #1 singles against Matt Harrison of Eastern by a score of 0-6, 0-6. The #1 doubles team of Evan Fleek and Jill Patel also lost by a score of 0-6, 0-6 to Rossville. The #2 doubles team of Pranay Patel and Josh Parker lost to Carroll by a score of 1-6, 1-6. Coach Marler of the Titans was excited to leave the tournament with a conference champion and continues to see significant improvement among the rest of the boys. The Titans will travel to Carroll on Monday afternoon for a dual match against the Cougars.
