The Taylor girls competed in a dual meet with Clinton Central. The Lady Titans won the meet 72-49.
Allison Abney was a quadruple winner. Abney won the 1600 with a time of 5:59, the 800 with a time of 2:44, the 3200 with a time of 16:09, and was the anchor for the winning 1600 relay team.
Austyn Huffer was a triple winner. Huffer was part of the winning 400 and 1600 relay teams and she won the high jump with a jump of 4’6”.
Alison Pemberton Was a triple winner. Pemberton won the long jump with a jump of 14,7” and was part of the winning 400 and 1600relay teams.
Brooke Morris won the 100 with a time of 13.61 and was a part of the winning 400 relay team.
The 400 relay team won with a time of 56.68. The relay team included Alison Pemberton, Austyn Huffer, Ayden Richter, and Brooke Morris. The 1600 relay team included Alison Pemberton, Austyn Huffer, Kirsten Alexander, and Allison Abney.
Individual winners included Mady Howerton in the pole vault(6’) and Ellie Hall in the shot put.
I’m really happy for the girls tonight. It’s always great to get a team win. Everyone contributed tonight. The girls gave a great effort tonight.
