The Taylor Lady Titans track and field team competed at Clinton Prairie on Tuesday night. Clinton Prairie won the meet scoring 68 points to the Titans 60. Allison Abney was a triple winner on the night. She won the 800 in a time of 2:43.49, the 1600 with a time of 5:52.13, and the 3200 with a time of 13:55.96. The 400 relay team of Alison Pemberton, Sydnie Boley, Whitney Chorrushi, and Brooke Morris took the blue ribbon in a time of 55.55. Boley, Pemberton, and Morris each took home individual wins as well. Boley won the long jump with a jump of 14’10”. Pemberton won the 400 with a time of 1:06.96. Morris won the 100 with a time of 13.6. Kiara Miller won the shot put with a throw of 26’9”.

The girls performed really well tonight. They had a really strong night with several season best performances. I’m especially happy for some of our underclass men who were able to score points and run well tonight. The girls compete next in a triangular meet at Lewis Cass on Thursday.
